How to join

Below is a brief explanation of the procedures necessary to become a Freemason and a member of our Lodge in particular.

If after visiting our site you think that Freemasonry may be for you, please contact us by filling in your details on the ‘ contact us ‘ section of this website. Then using the ‘ Your message’ box, write a brief message explaining a little bit about yourself and your reasons for wishing to join.

After an initial contact has been established, arrangements will be put into place to meet with you socially to find out more about you and more importantly to give you a chance to find out more about us and freemasonry.

In due course you would then be invited to attend a Lodge committee meeting where your proposed membership would be further discussed. If successful, the committee would recommend you to the Lodge. The procedure after that would be a ballot by the members of the lodge at the next available formal meeting and if the ballot proves in favour of your membership a date would be fixed for your admission.
